The link between your pedals and your wheels, the KMC E9 9-Speed Sports chain for the Denago eXC1 and eXC2 eMTBs is the driving force of your bike. Though made of exceptionally durable steel, bicycle chains do wear out and need replacing over time. Even more so on mid-drive motor eBikes, like the eXC1 and eXC2, because the motor is adding extra strain and wear on the chain with the added torque. If you feel any skipping in your chain or sluggishness shifting, have your local Denago Dealer measure the chain's wear for replacement. And be sure to lube your chain regularly to extend the life of all of your drivetrain parts.
Please note, this will be a full length, 116 link chain, and it may need to be shortened for your drivetrain.
