This is the main screen showing that the SOS feature is active.
Along your route, Flare will indicate if there are potential hazards such as adverse weather, potholes, ice, debris, a near miss, high risk area, or incident. A great way to avoid possible issues.
You can also report hazards that you come across to let other users know of issues.
The accelerometer in your phone or watch detects sudden changes in movement which can indicate a crash.
The app will ask you if you are okay and give you 30 seconds to respond before sending notices to your emergency contacts.
With the SOS feature you can let your emergency contacts know that you need help.
There is also a feature to get help with a flat tire or other mechanical issues on the road.
Another safety feature is the group option that will let you know if any rider from the group falls too far behind or has an accident.
As you ride safely you also are rewarded with Sweatcoins that can be redeemed for products or services, or charity donations.
Getting Your Flare Premium Subscription
If you buy your eBike online from Denago.com (or partner Bike.com), you will receive an email with a redemption link after you order.
If you buy your eBike from a brick and mortar Denago dealer, your dealer will provide a QR code to enroll. Scan the QR code with your iPhone or Android device to enroll in the Flare app.
