Bicycle events and tradeshows are a fun way to see the latest and greatest bikes and share the excitement with others who are equally as passionate about bikes.

In 2023 Denago eBikes will be attending some of the largest bike shows in the USA that will give you the opportunity to see and try the latest bikes and gear.

3. Electrify Expo
4. (e)Revolution Show

Many of these events will have a wide variety of eBikes to test ride and learn about directly from the company representatives. Additionally there may be educational seminars, recreational rides or races, kids events, and more.

Here is a look at the calendar so far. Stay tuned because more events may be added as the year goes on.

Sea Otter Classic April 20-23, 2023

This really is a classic cycling event as it has been going on since 1991 in the Monterey, California area. It is the largest open to the public cycling events in the U.S. that celebrates all aspects of cycling from racing to fun rides to an expo with all the latest bikes.

It is held at the Laguna Seca Raceway in the hills just outside of Monterey and it really is a spectacle with the road racers on the raceway, mountain bike racers zipping by on the nearby trails, and the busy expo in the center.

One of the highlights of the Sea Otter Classic expo is the ability to test ride the many electric and non-electric bikes that are available. Make sure you stop by the Denago booth (P72) to check out the latest eBikes. Plus there is so much other bike gear to checkout around the show.

There are group ride tours happening that are open to eBikes and they travel through some of the beautifully scenic areas around Monterey.

Speaking of scenic rides there is the famous “17 Mile Drive” at Pebble Beach that has some great ocean views and it is open to eBikes. There are also some great bike paths that wind along the coast and beach areas near Fishermans Wharf area.

At the Sea Otter Classic there are also so many racing events to checkout, including an electric mountain bike race! Below are the races that will be happening:

Mountain Bike Racing

• Dual Slalom
• Enduro
• eMTB

Road Racing

• Road Race
• Circuit Race
• Gravel Race

There are also kids events and races happening too. Never too early to get out and have fun on 2 wheels!

There are a lot of hotel and vacation rental options in Monterey and the surrounding areas. Camping at the Laguna Seca Raceway is also an option if you want to be super close to the event and in the action.

There is a regional airport in Monterey that is pretty easy to fly in and out of.

Monterey is a fun town to check out and some of the big highlights are the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Cannery Row, whale watching tours, and more.

Monterey and Carmel have a great selection of restaurants (lots of seafood), coffee shops, breweries, and wineries to check out.

You can really make a nice vacation out of attending the Sea Otter Classic.

CABDA

This is an industry tradeshow that is not open to the public. It is mainly a show for dealers and other bike industry professionals to check out the latest bikes and gear.

There are 3 shows happening across the U.S. in 2023 as follows.

• The West CABDA show is in the Los Angeles area January 10 & 11 at the Ontario Convention Center.
• The Midwest CABDA show is in the Chicago area February 8 & 9 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel.
• The East CABDA show is in the New York City area March 8 & 9 at the Meadowlands Expo Center.

Electrify Expo

As the name implies this is an expo for all types of electric vehicles and they are open to the public.

These events are held across the U.S. and they are a great place to test ride eBikes, eScooters, eSkateboards, eMotorcycles, and test drive eCars & eTrucks.

There is a festival-like atmosphere at these events with demo’s, education, music, food trucks, and activities for kids. Here is a video with recap of the Austin event to give you an idea of what an Electrify Expo is like:

(e)Revolution Show

This is a new North American electric bike tradeshow that will be open to both the industry and the public in Denver, Colorado.

The industry days are June 8 & 9 and the public days are June 10 & 11.

The event is happening at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver.

The (e)Revolution Show is being held in conjunction with The Big Gear Show which is focused on all outdoor products.
